A two-year, live online certificate in church music — practical training and real encouragement for anyone helping their congregation sing well, taught from wherever you already are.
Formal, practical training for church musicians is hard to come by — and harder still if you can’t pick up and move to get it. We’ve heard from musicians all over the world who want this training and simply cannot relocate to Louisiana to get it.
“What if the church has overlooked the arts in God’s kingdom and in our growth? What if your child and your community are awakening to that desire?”

Gather regularly with faculty and fellow students to discuss the practical work of church music.
Build a standing relationship with RSA faculty who know your name and your church.
Travel to West Monroe once a year for recitals, juries, and capstone presentations.
Wanting encouragement and practical training to help your congregation musically — however that looks right now.
Already leading music at your church, without formal training in it.
Helping where you can — in the choir, at the keyboard, or with an instrument.
Planting a church or raising up a music leader for one.
Too far from Monroe to move, but not too far to study with us.
Simply wanting to understand the liturgy and the theology behind singing the psalms.
A sponsoring church is part of how this works. Your session names a local point person — often you — who oversees the student’s practical work at home: starting a children’s choir, assisting the choir, playing for a service. RSA supplies the training; you supply the parish.

Tell us a little about yourself and your church. Jarrod will follow up directly. Tuition for the online track is still being finalized — contact us for current figures.
